I just got my multimount and Gemtech has no documentation on the baffle stack orientation for reassembly. Anyone have one that knows?? Or anyone know in general?

Stainless baffle in the very bottom (it'll be the heaver one), The top most baffle has no indexing teeth on top.

All in between doesn't matter.

I put them in till I can rotate with my finger then start rotating till all baffles seat against each other.

The opening on the side of the baffle doesn't matter if they are all on the same side or 180* out.

Awesome! Thanks so much! Any good tips on cleaning and keeping the thing from seizing up?

Are they now unlocked from the factory?  When I bought mine they were sealed and came with an all aluminium stack.

I usually get the first baffle out pretty easily then pound the rest out against my hand.

Yes user serviceable, been shooting my MM 3 lug on my 10/22 with a 3 lug adapter. Things stupid quiet with sub sonics.

Why would you even try something like a 9mm can on a .22?

I really need to get the 1/2x28 thread mount, all I have right now is the LID.

That's my plan! 10/22 with subs... And now that's its take apart no worries about clogging it up. I read somewhere that a cheap soda blaster will bring those baffles back to factory condition without harming the aluminum. Might be the way to go with 22 lead everywhere. Now if Gemtech would only get some mounts made up!

Perfect! R&D makes me think it's legit!

With the new version of the Multimount (disassemblable), the baffle stack works best with the baffles all aligned in the same direction.

Can we send the older ones back (manufactured in 2009) to be refitted?
