Can a Mark II 678 tapered barrel be cut and threaded for a suppressor? Would like to cut to about 5.5" and move sight back.
Thoughts?

I had the same dilemma when i wanted to suppress my Mark II.  I ended up buying a Pac lite upper.  Much quicker and easier than dicking around with a tapered barrel.
