Does anyone know if Surefire has a minimum barrel length for running a 762RC on a 300 win mag?

I need to order a barrel soon to get the gun built before the form clears...

I'd like to know this as well. However, I think in the lengths the 99% of people would want 300wm in, the can will handle.

I'm tossing around 24" or 26", mk13 style. I don't think 20" would give me the enough advantage over my other rifles for target shooting that it would justify the expense of the new rifle and caliber. I'd bet the 762Socom goes down to 20-22" which are both shorter than I'd want to run that caliber in for my uses.

I'd like to do 20-22" if it's safe.  I can deal with 24" if I have to.

I already have other guns to fill the extreme long range niche.

208@2800 from a 20" barrel. That's I think 150fps slower than a 26" barrel.

That's pretty much what I had in mind, just want to make sure it will be safe for the can.

I have emailed SF, I will update this thread when I hear back.
