Hum, I didn't have a complaint yet about my current examiner. Hopefully it does make things go smoother. In theory it should work.
|
|
Well hopefully there's no massive reorganization period in which nothing gets done.
I hope it becomes faster! |

Judging by the time I would say it's similar to Disability/welfare, which is 9 cases a week. |

Yeah no more Farris! Pickles.......hmmmm, are we still getting shafted?

"Unprecedented and ever increasing application volume." That about says it all. Not sure how I feel on the subject considering all the extra interest (attention) may be good or bad for our once somewhat unknown hobby.

Why is there an NFA examiner assigned to IL, when all NFA items are forbidden by state law in IL?
I know that recent SCOTUS decisions have invalidated the IL ban on NFA, but the law is still on the books and no one has challenged it yet. Someone explain this if you can. |
|
Because there are still F3s and F5s sent into IL. Manufacturers like LMT, Armalite, Rock River, etc., can have them.

Sometimes its easy to forget that there are still a few gun makers here in this state. The politicians who run Chicago (and therefore run the entire state) HATE guns and hate gun owners. |

So actually it would be any 2's, 3's and 5's going OUT of Illinois. All of these MFG's listed above MAKE NFA stuff, so they would still need examiners. |

I'm just glad I still have Dana Pickles Lucky bastard! He (?) looks to be one of the fastest bureaucrats yet. I'll get Nicole Dudash - who appears to take more than TWICE as long from pending to approval per NFAtracker.com. |

dammit
look who i got now... edit: the second paragraph of the letter is full of win! |
|
see ive had Snook, Dudash and Santamaria, but not the guy assigned to FL now
|
|
So I have two forms ready to send in––do I now wait the two weeks to see what happens?
My "normal" examiner is Nancy Flanigan, it would now be Dana Pickles. |
|
I have one I will be needing to send in shortly. I too wonder if I should wait until 7/1 and send it to Pickles or go ahead and send it into Flannigan now. UM I don't see Flannigans name on that list.
|
|
Looks as if the reduction to 10 examiners is permanent. I certainly wouldn't wait on sending forms in right now...it's just a couple weeks until July and you know your forms won't go pending until a few weeks from sending them in so the likelihood of not getting the examiner listed is small.

Rats. I went from being serviced by Nicole Dudash to William Shipman.

I can't complain. My transfer through Frushour was 3 months from mailing to receipt of the can, and it looks like Mr. Pickles is faster according to NFA tracker.
I wonder if this tiny batch of government employees knows what major celebrities they are on NFA boards? |

What's the report on Albert Lamberger? I just ordered a can and haven't sent any paperwork in yet?

I will loan you the money. I will send it to your local bank. Just go down there and say you are there for the money. They will try to act dumb, so if they don’t respond right away, say something about the machine gun, silencers, etc. and insist they hand it over. The money will be there, I promise. |
