I have only had a couple out of a thousand go super sonic on me out of several thousand. I am torn between the sound of the Remington over CCI but for the price I shoot a lot more Remington.

I haven't had super sonic issues, but it seems like 3 out of a 50 count box don't go off. If you rotate a dud in the chamber sometimes it will go off with a second or 3rd primer strike, sometimes it doesn't matter they won't go off at all.
What do you guys think of Fiochi 22LR 38 gr subsonics? |

Wolf Match Target has been a fantastic load through all my .22s except the Mosquito.
Quiet, accurate, just a little dirty. The Remington Target load (100 round slide-top box, $5.97 @ WalMart) is almost as quiet, but not as accurate. Additionally, it will function 100% in my Mosquito, so far. |

It turns my 6" spikes dedicated into a single shot. haven't tried it with a can yet though. |

My ruger MKIII with Spectre does not like them and they are not that good of a round. Specs are 1050fps and the CCI standard is 1050fps and cheaper.

Hint: expecting consistent results from bargain crap ammo (especially .22lr) isn't good SOP.
For pistols, just about anything works well. I like federal Bulk Pack (high velocity but still SS). For rifles, CCI Standard and something Federal or Aguilla are going to be your better choices. I generally avoid Remington ANYTHING in .22lr because it fouls too much. God only knows what it's doing to the inside of my can. |

Interesting. I have had plenty of trouble with Remington 22lr ammo. But not with the subsonic. I think I have had only a couple duds in a few thousand rounds, and it has never gone super sonic on me.

I won't buy Remington 22 LR any more, I have had more failures to fire with it than any other brand.

CCI standard vel. had no FTF in 400 rds. out of my suppressed S&W 422.. 5" bbl
 . Remington target had 3 FTF in 50 rds. same gun  . AND they shot sparks out of the ejection port. And the duds would not fire if re hit. However... Remington Subsonic works very well in my suppressed P 22. Hope this helps, Otto.

Gotta say +1 for the Agulia Subsonic. Shoot them out of my 10\22 with a Specter and they are accurate and quiet. The only thing you hear is the action then the bullet impact.
