1/2-32 is not the standard of the industry. At Gemtech, we will make (on a custom basis) a 1/2-32 mount for our Trinity. In fact, I think I have one in stock. |

hrt4me, what are you trying to suppress? YHM makes their 9mm thread-on and QD cans in 1/2x32. I haven't seen or heard their 9mm can, so can't comment there. But their adapder threads are more or less universal, so if you had something in 22 or 30 cal that was threaded 12/32 you could use the 9mm mount and the rifle can.
You could also talk to our SOT out here in Longview. He does a lot of work with european guns, so often deals with the unusual thread pitches. |

There were a lot of barrels made in 1/2x32 by FAC for many different guns.
