Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need help fast with Uzi Eagle!

I'm over to a friends' house and he has a Uzi Eagle .40, needs to field strip it.I looked at it and I think it brakes down from the slide release.Is this true? I tried to push the slide release at various points through out the slide and I could not get it to move, any suggestions.

Do you mean Baby Eagle?  You push back the slide a little, line up the two marks in the rear of the slide, then push hard on the small round end of the slide release "the right side" and pull it the rest of the way out.
