Has anyone had any experience with the RRA midlength handgard upper?
Good or bad??

the only reason that i will tell you not to get the mid is because you can't find any float-tubes or rail systems for it!!!

if i would of known, i would of bought carbine length.

i am happy with my RRA lower and upper alltogether

You also won’t be putting a Surefire Millennium forend/flashlight unit on it.

Les Baer makes a float tube rail system for mid length...

check out Kurts Kustom in the industry forum...he can make you one
at a resonable price..with rails just about anywhere you want em...

Armalite catalog says they will have a Sure Fire tatical light/hand guard in mid lenth in the future. Pg. 44.

Only ArmaLite makes mid length handguards.  The RR handguards seem to come from ArmaLite.  The marks are the same.  I asked ArmaLite about whether they supplied them and they said RR never bought any.  They also said that Surefire won't make a light for that handguard for a while if ever.
