Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Yet another used AR, what would YOU pay?

Its a used pre-ban Oly CAR-AR, has the stop sign SGW logo, colapsable buttstock, 11.5" barrel w/ permanant 5.5" hider, bayo lug, early style (A1?) sights, and a couple of mags. Couple of brass ejection nicks on R. side, nothing major. According to the Oly. web site the lower is a forged model. What's it worth?

Totally my personal opinion, but I find the 11.5" barrel with a 5" flash hider minimally useful.  I'd rather just have a 16" barrel.

So, what you're really buying is the pre-ban lower and collapible stock.  I would shoot for $800-$900 because that's what it's worth to me.

Other views may vary.

I say $900 - just about anyone is going to want to ditch that upper IMO.
