it would be legal for anyone to permantaly attach a beta c to a ar15 lower or any magazine for that matter. the main obsticle would be if u wanted to perm attach a post ban mag in getting the post ban magazine

It would not be legal for a non-licensee or non-government agency to possess a restricted hi-cap. So, regardless of if it was attached or not, it would be illegal.
You could, of course, legally attach a PRE-BAN Beta mag with no problems. People have done similar things to get around the '94 Krime Bill, such as Oly's OA-96, which is a post-ban AR pistol that has a fixed 30-round mag, so that it can exceed the 50oz weight limit and have handguards. -Troy |
