$8,ooo Pistol - AR15.COM

Looking thru Gun List, I saw ads for Korth pistols, nicely priced to sell quickly at $4,500 to $8,000. Calibers were .357mag & 22LR. Has anyone ever seen these? I heard they were for the Holland & Holland/Purdy crowd, but hellfire, they sure ain't cheap!!!! Another to add to my list when I win the lottery. >gg<

Actually, those are German Marks.

In US Dollars that is $3,700 not $8,000. Then again I could buy an Uzi SMG for that amount of money.

Big money.

I've heard plenty of bad things about Korth handguns. The revolver is essentially a Python copy. The pistol is ugly as Hell. These handguns are made for the "a Colt or S&W it just too common for me" crowd. They are made for the discerning sportsman (i.e. the stupid rich guy) who doesn't want to have the same gun that us mere mortals can have. It's the same reasoning behind the Rolls Royce. Why by an already expensive Lincoln that some upper-middle class types drive when you can pay $500,000 for a Rolls that only royalty rides in?

One of my buddies has a Korth. It's really an expensive POS. He's begged me to buy it from him for $1800. I told him when he gets down to about $250, I'll consider it.
The grips are absolutely hideous.
