Would like to schedule a meet so we can shoot guns as well as the shit. Perhaps in a couple of months when weather is better. I would like to start to oraganize it starting now.

Well if you make a day of it, I may be able to coax a few Long Island Shooters into a road trip. I know I could always use the change of scenery.

Sure any NYers are welcome even some PA or Ohio shooters. I live in Olean, NY, about 5 miles north of the PA border and about 70 miles south of Buffalo. There are several ranges I will look into using. Long Island! WOW, thats a heck of a day trip!

Hey Olean, cool place and home of Cutco knives and "The Old Library" restaurent, a great spot to have a nice meal and a couple drinks. I am from the east end of LI but the wife and I have a friend who owns the "Block Barn" in Cuba,NY which is nearby and we go up there every fall. I'd love to have another reason for us to make the trek out there!

I live in Buffalo now, but I went to St. Bonaventure for a Masters Degree. I would drive down for a day of shooting.

Yup, thats the place and if you like to collect Zippo lighters the factory is about 25 miles from us and has a retail store. 2 of the possible ranges are VERY close to there. Personally I think Mian Raphis (sp?) is the best eats in town, classy, affordable, and damn good. Pass the work guys i will be working on this steadily

OK 70 miles south of Buffalo may be stretching it for me. I used to go to SUNY Buffalo, so the drive wouldn't bother me, but dragging others along may be a problem.

Then again, I could talk them into crossing the border for some Canadian beer afterwards.

Im up for it, Heck Yea, only problem might be if its after March. April the museum I work at is open weekends and so I only get every other weekend off. At this time of the year all my weekends are 3 days.

WHEN---Soon is as specific as I can be right now as I just thought of this today.
WHERE---I have to contact the ranges around here and find out what I have to do in order for them to allow a bunch of non-members hog their range for several hours.

Like I said guys I will be working on this. I would LOVE to buy some land, maybe I can get my parents extra 30 acres and build a REAL range for REAL gun owners, not namby pamby PC "hunters". Would be sweet. I will keep you updated.
