I am kind of looking for a nice small handgun. Probably in 9mm. I like the size and weight of the Kel-tec p11 but I have heard bad things about them. I don't know if there's anything yhat comes close to its size and weight. So what would you suggest?

Thanks guys.

Kel-tec, Kahr & Glock all make small 9mm's & all are decent quality.
Keep in mind that a very small gun is going to have an equally opposite increase in felt recoil, i.e. more bang to the hand than a "normal" sized gun.
Ideally, the best thing to do is find some buddies who'll take you to the range & let you try out several brands & models to see which works for you.
Hope this helps.

No, nothing comes close to it in size and weight.  It is the ultimate 9mm CCW choise.  You just personally have to decide how much money and time you're willing to spend to get it working.  Kel-Tec doesn't have any parts distributors, and sending the pistol back is very expensive (overnight UPS required) so repairs can be expensive and time consuming.  If concealablity is your #1 goal, then go for the Kel-Tec.  If reliablity or working out of the box is #1, then buy something else.z  .

Before you look at Kahr, take a look at the "Ever buy a gun you hated thread" Might change your mind.
