Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - 8mm FN49 muzzle threads?

I have a 8mm FN49 with muzzle threads of unknown size. Does any one know what size thread it is? Best I can tell is that it's 14mm, but I don't know the pitch ie. M14X1, M14X1.25.

I don't know but if someone can't help you go to an automotive store or hardware store, buy a thread pitch guage. They come in American and metris sizes. They aren't expensive. Or if you know someone with a Tap & Dye set he has one in it.  Hastings tools makes one.
