OK, on another thread, I found out that the #38S-EX will not work with the Colt M4 handguards.

Now, I understand that the standard 6" Swan Sleeve will fit, but will the slightly extended 9" Swan Sleeve fit over Colt M4 handguards?

#38 - All M4s.

#38-EX Yes on RIS/RAS, No on M-4 Handguards.

#38S-EX Yes on RIS/RAS (floats on top), No on M-4 Handguards.

NEW #38 for RAS, locks into RAS. No on M-4 Handguards.

Summary: You cannot use M-4 handguards (on top, anyway) with any #38, except for the regular.
