Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - A no trickle M1 Garand Load as good as 4064

I have a load with Varget that is as accurate as 4064 with no need to trickle powder.

I am cutting 1 inch 5 shots at 100 yards with iron sights (NM) off a front and rear bag. That is what I can do with the 4064 load. Any flyers are called.

Load:

Rem cases
45.0 (forty five point zero) Varget
Sierra 150 gr spitzer boat tails
Win large rifle primers (the 10 CCI large mils I tried also looked good, but I have only done 10)
OAL=3.207

This is great news. Functions great, no problems at all. I just wanted to share the load with everyone who is tired of trickling for the M1.
