Yep. I believe 7.62x51 is it. The 20mm rotary cannon that looks like a minigun on steroids is called the Vulcan, I think.
Lots of people around here know a pantload more about this stuff than me. |

gau-2b made by ge the ones you see on 160th k birds and the oh-6 little bird. shoots the 7.62 nato round. 7000 rds a minute pushing the black button 10,000 a minute pushing the red one. they can shoot the 308 slap rd through those damn things talk about making a good day turn bad. especially if your a rooftop full of skinnies

The General electric Vulcan mini-guns can be either 20mm or 7.62x51 like B27 says.Go with the GE GAU-8 Avenger in the A-10 aircraft if you want the King Kahuna if them all.30mm at about a 75 round per second rate of fire!
