Yep. The Scout rifles and the Calif rifles have muzzle brakes.

If anyone has first hand knowldge that would help. But it does look like they have flash hiders.

I have one, it has a real flash hider on it, sans the bayo lug.

Basicly, ince the M14/M1A does not have a pistol grip, it's perfectly legal to put a flash suppressor (w/o bayonet lug) on a post-ban gun except in California.

Yes. While *imported* rifles cannot have *military* bipods, they can have *sporting* bipods (i.e., Harris, Parker-Hale, VersaPod). Domestic rifles have no bipod restrictions. -Troy |

They became an issue with the BATF with the "sporting points" system, whereby imports are graded with points based on how they do or do not resemble "sporting" firearms. Size, weight, and other features all get points. Apparently, a "military" bipos adds points, or is outright unimportable. |
