Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Thumbhole stocks on AR15?

Hey, does anyone know whether a thumbhole stock made for the AR15 is il/legal?  I'm thinking about a project to see if I CAN do it, but if for some liberal reason its not, please tell me!

A thumbhole stock is legal, but under the 1994 Krime Bill, it still counts as a pistol grip when counting evil features.  Note that under the 1989 Import Ban, a thumbhole does NOT count as a pistol grip, which is why you saw all those thumbholes on military-style semi-autos in the early '90s.
