Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - combination tool

i have a combo tool #7790769,it looks like a flash hider on one end and has a wrench on the other,got it in a box with misc.stuff and was wondering WTF  it is

Sounds like the M14/M1A combination tool.  The flash hider end is used for pushing rounds through stripper clips into magazines.  The wrench end is for removing the extractor from the bolt and the the gas plug from the gas cylinder.

thanx fox,i've had it for a few years and just recently run across it again,now i need a m-1 to use it on
