BTT = Back To Top
Whenever someone adds a reply post, the topic goes back to the top of the forum, which tends to generate more reads/posts. People often add a "BTT" reply when they have a thread that's been pushed down several pages where no one is reading, so that it goes back to the top and gets more replies. -Troy |

That's exactly what I meant...typing one thing, thinking another. The problem with those websites is that they don't say whether the sight will work with what I wanted. I figured someone here has the experience with that. |

Here's a pic of the rear sight section of an ARMS #38 -
Here's a pic of the extended length #38 -  For multi-tasking this is probably what I'd recommend getting as it is both a riser mount and flip up rear sight. |

Doesn't the #38 already come with a version of the #40 flip-up rear sight built on? Problem solved?

Brouhaha I have a regular length ARMS #38 (already has a spring mounted rear sight) I used to use with my M4gery and Leupold, it's been sitting in the closet for a while, let me know if you're interested

hmmm...for some reason, one of the websights I was looking at for the #38 showed it without the sight. I just assumed it was an option. This changes everything!
Duffy, do you have any pics you could show me? What's the length of your #38? Now, if I use a #19Acog mount with the #38, will the Compact ACOG be able to fit over the flip up sight? |

   My TAO1NSN fits fine with the sleeve, however I'm not sure about the ARMS #19

It's the #36 that has no rear sight. As for an ACOG you could use a #19 or a #10, here's a pic of an ACOG on a #10 mounted to a #38. -
 If you're only planning on an ACOG and not anything else just get Trijicon's TA51 mount and a stand alone ARMS #40 (or GG&G variant) rear flip-up sight, it will be less expensive. |
