Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Problems getting Colt 1911A1

I just spoke with the dealer that I buy all my guns from looking for a Colt 1911A1.  I was told that they dropped Colt because they couldnt get guns shipped out in a timely manner.  Has anyone else run into this?  I would like to pick up a Colt 1911A1.  Any suggestions on where?

DITTO, hes full of crap, there are more Colt 1911s out there than you can even dream of buying. Find another dealer. or go to gunbroker.com and find one that will fit your budget
