STORM,
the floor lights we use are 16" square wood boxes...about 8" deep with and outdoor light bulb/fixture mounted in them. these spotlight the targets nicely when shooting prone or kneeling. we have direct overhead lighting for offhand. the floor lights are loose on the floor an connected to a common electrical feed/extension cord.
i'm amazed, but no one seems to have hit them with a stray shot!
some of our colleges and universites (such as ohio state u. and akron u., near me) have collegiate shooting teams. and just like any sport, they provide scholarship money to entice student/shooters to attend thet particular school. email me if you would like a list of u.s. collegiate teams.
you have GREAT attendance! as i said, our squad is small and guns/shooting is politically incorrect and not exactly encouraged among american youth.
the range that i shoot at has 8 lanes, space is cramped, no target returns or dividers...but we have a lot of fun! those kids are sure a riot to shoot with.
