What is the mil-spec ID of the buffer tube??  Is there any difference in this ID between the various manufacturers?  Reason I ask is that the buffer tube spacer for a tac sling plate won't fit in my tube, yet was designed to be "milspec".  Anybody have a set of calipers that could measure their buffer tube ID?

I have .991 in. on both my Carbine's and Rifle's buffer tube internal diameter.

Thanks JDP.  That's close to what I got.  Spacer is exactly 1.00, so it won't go in without turning it down.
