Hello, and in reading about the positive reports from bipod users, I have a question about the stability of the swivel bipods. If it swivels, doesn't it make it less stable than the non swiveling ones? Is it harder to keep the crosshairs on the target with it being able to swivel? I was all ready to order the Harris swivel bipod, but my gun dealer said that many guys do not like them since they move. Any feedback on this would be appreciated. Thank you. --Tim

I have the swivel model and love it.  Its great because you dont have to fiddle with the legs to get them just the right height.  There is also a product called the Pod Loc that you can get from www.brownells.com that will lock the pod so it doesnt swivel when in place.
