Does anyone else think some company should manufacture a dedicated tactical light (MP5 sytle) for the UZI?

When I posed this question to a design engineer at Sure-Fire several months ago, the answer was "we have no plans now or in the future to produce such a light, try our barrel mounted device."  I thought, what a shame, because I think they'd really clean up.  The barrel mounted contraption they offer doesn't do the UZI justice.

And hey, what about night sights for the UZI.  That too would be nice.
If I'm out of line here let me know.

Looking through historical type photos, I have seen tac lights mounted on UZIs. I am sure someone makes a mount. Best might be to rig something up. Not being familiar with UZIs, but having some knowledge of Surefires, while you probably won't find a forearm replacement, you could probably rig a mount with Surefire brackets that either clamps to the barrel or is mounted directly to the foream. You would then simply velcro the pressure switch wherever you want it on the forearm.

A barrel mount with pressure pad is what Sure Fire offers now.  I think they can do better.  I was talking about a dedicated, all-in-one unit.  I am sure that there are enough UZI owners out there who would buy a dedicated mount, so as to justify the production cost.
