I have a Bushmaster A3 upper with 14.5 barrel and the BMAS 3-rail gas block; it is going on a collapsible lower. My question is: where and how do I attach a sling to the front of the rifle? I would be willing to use one of the rails, if necessary. Does anybody know of a rail attachment with a sling swivel? Or can the BMAS mount a sling in another manner?

You can use a sling on the BMAS in one of several ways:

  • Install a sling swivel stud in one of the bottom 3 holes of the BMAS, than attach a swivel to that. (cheapest)

  • Get one of the KMC rail mounted swivels and mount it up that way (clean but spendy). A QD mount is available

  • Get the BMAS bipod adapter and utilize the stud on it to mount your sling (also spendy/heavy)

If you got the $$, go with #2.
Good luck
