My father was over for the family Christmass dinner so I nabbed his Digicam to snap some pics...

here are some of my new gun room that I am just finishing.

This is the left side showing my loading bench and ammo storage lockers.

This is the right side showing my rifle racks and collection.

This is the pistol rack area ( cut off in the above pic)

This is a pic of just my semi-auto military rifles....by pride and joy!!

Show us yours!!

Going to have to get my own camera now!

LOL Yeah!! My new ( just moved in July) house in in a University town. The previous owners built a 2 bedroom apartment in the basement to rent out to students. We are using the whole house. This used to be the kitchen for the apartment. I added a steel door riped our the cupboards on the right side to make room for the gun rack. The sink makes it real easy to clean my guns not to mention washing up after a reload session with lead rounds.

This room was the first priority when we moved! Had to make a nice home for my babies. I am going to add an electronic deadbolt lock so I do not have to always carry the keys with me. I have also added an alarm system. Two of the walls back on concrete the other two have steel sandwiched between the drywall.

I see the door swings out. Make sure you put some burgle-proof hinges on it.

You've got a good eye AR-10! What do you do on your "night" job! You have spotted the one weak point in my room. So far I have only epoxied the pins in place but I do plan on putting on tamper proof hinges...as soon as I can find them no local stores seem to carry them.

A steel outswing door has what they call off-set hinges. They are curved slightly so that if you take the pin out the door will not slide out past the hinge leaf that is screwed to the frame.

Your local lumber yard may have a set on the shelf.

They also make a hinge that has a punch out on one leaf that recesses into the other leaf as the door is closed. Serves the same purpose.

Yes it is a FN 49. Thanks to the guys here I now know that it is a Belgian 30.06. It replaced an 8mm egyptian that I sold several years ago...one of only two guns that I have ever sold. I am still trying to chase down the first one!!

An FN [>(] My AR for a pristine FN FAL! I use to like you Stormbringer.

How do you like the rear sight on your Hi-Power? I have one just like it (tangent rear sight)and it has a horrible sight picture. Nice B-27 wallpaper on your door too!

Striker: Its only a poor Ishapore 1A1 however it is a good shooter. I also hate the tangent sight on my HP. I am going to get a regular slide for it and let my daughter use it for IPSC.

7. LOL yea I noticed it after I took that pic. I had just finished putting the trim on the outside of the door.

Happyshooter: Thanks! Its all pine with a walnut stain. Notice however that I still have to add pegs to the left lower part of the rack. I am not sure whether to put in more rifle pegs, more pistol storage or shelf space.

12,15..... Its not luck. Its lots of hard work and LOVE!!

Are those Lee presses? 1000 and maybe a loadmaster? How well do they work? They are much cheaper than a Dillon and I'll eventually get a progressive.

Also, is that a door in the rear of the room?

Yea they are Lees ( the Shotgun press is a MEC)
I just picked up the 1000 this past summer CHEAP!!
It took quite a bit of work to get it running but now I am getting 300 or so .45s in an hour.

No its not a door its just where the wall had been built out to match the counter that I took out.

A cheap way to burglar-proof a door:
Remove two of the screws from both the door and the frame (matching holes) from the top and bottom hinges.
Get 4 of those double-headed nails (used commonly for temporary construction), drive one into each empty hole in the frame.
When the door is closed, the second head of the nail will go into the screw hole on the door and will prevent the door from moving if it doesnt swing.

You sir have great taste in spirits. That is almost and exact shot of my fridge. Except I prefer the full flavored Bud. Damn that Hardcore Cider is some tasty stuff! I also enjoy the Guiness, but that Sam Adams cream stout is pretty hard to beat as well. Those four beers (and cider) are about all I allow in my fridge.

Nice selection GI!! Are all the cabinets home made? Or was there a big sale on? What do you do for proper security? No I am not planing a shopping trip but I am always paranoid about someone breaking into my stash.

Naw, I think he has a .410, 20 & 12ga. It's hard to find a 16ga anymore and I don't think I've ever seen an 870 in 10ga.

The Cabinets, that are no longer made were made by Pulaski.

The one 6 gun cabinet I bought at a mom & pop Furniture Store, one of the 10 gun cabinets was given to me by my mother before she died (dad is still pissed) and the other 10 gun cabinet I found at a Rust & Dust after I was told that I would never find another one since they are a discontinued item by Pulaski.
All three cabinets are keyed alike by Pulaski. A Beefed-up Home Security System and keys are all that I use for protection.

The three 870's are a 12ga, 20ga & 410, were bought for the limited amount of of bird hunting that I do.

SMGLee, what are you using to mount the Reflex to your Benelli?

Also are you having trouble cycling with the extra weight of the Reflex and mount?

No problem with function at all. The gun continue to work flewlessly. I believe the Reflex is light enough not to be a trouble to cycling. You can contact GG&G, they will tap and drill and install a Picatinny rail on it for you. They are even taking the ghost ring off and make it detachable. It is really slick job.
