Sierra's loading manual has a passing fair section on ballistic mathmatics.

The JBM in Las Cruces NM used to have a fairly intricate program online.....do a google search.

As far as MOA.....This is a mathmatical term which stands for Minute of an Angle.  Yep geometry and trig.  One degree has 60 minutes in it.  What range are you shooting at?  Regardless, convert the yards into inches and multiple by the sine of 1/60 of a degree.

Example: at 100 yards you would have

(100*3*12)Sin(1/60) which is about 1 inch.

At two hundred yards this would be about 2 inches, etc.
