I've been noticing a lot in pictures in Time Magazine that the spec op units are still using the Trijicon ACOG scopes.  I have barely seen any Aimpoint scopes in any pictures.  Is it a rumor that they are using Aimpoint now?  Are they still using the Trijicon Reflex at all?  Anybody know?

Trijicon is used mainly by operator in USSOCOM, Seals, Marines, and PJ's, but Aimpoint is depolyed by Army, so you see lots of Army special forces, delta, and rangers using it.

If you look at the SOCOM SOPMOD list, the reflex is as the day sight.

I have a Airborne friend who works in the armory at Ft. Bragg, although not standard issue for his company......they do have quite a few ACOG units on stock for the M4. I spend some time inquring what is in that armory, Ohhh! so many toys.
Maybe they are "private stock".
