I too, love my HK-91, but you may not.
It is not a dressy rifle, or one with a lot of hand crafting.
Compared to other 308's, the 91 is not smooth shooting rifle.
It unlocks and locks with authority. It must be cocked by allowing the bolt seat with full force. It does not have a forward assist.
It has a short stock, no gas system, and a trigger that is not for the weak.
It is a working man's rifle. Full of ugly welds, and the disposition of a mule.
It's a large caliber rifle in a small feeling frame.
It has two dangerous ends, the muzzle and the ejection port.
The rifle has a muzzle climb rate almost second to none.
It leaves flute marks and dented case mouths on the spent brass, if you can find them.
AND because of these things, I love the gun!!!!
