Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Boreguides for a SIG550 and Blaser R93?

Gents,

I'm hoping you can help me out here.

I've some problems with cleaning the barrels of my SIG 550 (223) and Blaser R93 matchrifle (308). It boils down to the fact that I don't have boreguides for these specific rifles and have not found any manufactures/distributors yet.

But, shooters are resourcefull people and I hope you can help me figure out how to handle this problem.

Someone suggested using a empty case with a drilled out primerpocket as a mini-boreguide (for the Blaser). Would this work?

Any suggestions are welcome.
