Hey guys - I just wanted to see if you all have any ideas/suggestions for a "mobile bench system" - either jury-rigged or purchased, that I can take to the range with me.  

I have a place that I like to go to shoot my AR and other guns (hand guns too) that is pretty much an open field.  I'd like to find a way to carry with me (size matters) a way so I can set up a chair/rest and do my sighting-in.  The system would have to accomidate rifles and handguns.

A friend made a portable shooting bench out of a Black & Decker Workmate (bought on sale at Wallyworld) and a piece of plywood for a top. It works great but the plywood needs to be 0.75 thick to provide a sturdy platform. The gizmo took about 2 minutes to assemble and folds up to fit in the back seat of his car.
