Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Bull barrel question...

How are the bull barrels chambered? Are they all set up as a .223 chambering? Is it safe to use milsurplus rounds in a bull barrel and will the accuracy suck? I am thinking of getting a bull barrel kit from J&T Enterprises and I am curious as to what would be ideal to use with it ammo wise. Who else here has much experiance with the bull barrel set ups and how do you like them?

I asked J&T that same question a year or so ago. They said that all their barrels are chambered for 5.56 including bull barrels. That was back when they used Wilson blanks.  Not sure if anything has changed since then.
