150.00 to add night sights to my gun, good idea/bad?

Depends on what you use it for. For defense I'd say yes, though $150.00 sounds a little high. I had Trijicon sights put on both my Glock 27 and 30 for about $80.00 each. If you can get some with different colors front and rear it really helps.

I voted yes. However, for combat shooting in a night time scenario, you shouldn't be using the sights anyway. You should bring your weapon up, squared with your shoulders, at about chin level. This is much faster, and accurate for true low-light shootings. In a lot of cases we see people shooting better scores on the night fire courses using this method, than firing in good light using their sights.

By the way, $150.00 is way too much.  Pat

Quoted:
Most defensive shootings occur in the dark.

What kind of gun is this?  What brand/type of night sights?

-Troy

HK pistol.  Not certain on the sights, still looking around.  150.00 was what I had been expecting to pay.

I think I paid $59.00 a couple years ago for some Meprolight sights from R Guns.
