I purchased a Hougue mono-grip and I want ot see what it feels like on my Gp-100. I tried takeing off the grips but it just wouldnt budge. I unscrewed the center screw and figured I could slide them off, but that did not work. What am I missing?

First take out the screw, theen the wooden inserts in the rubber grips have to come out. I just twist the grips a little, they may be stuck in, or gently pry the wood inserts with a screwdriver. then you will find two pins, one small and one large. Slide these out, them pull off the grips. Hope this helps...fullclip

the small pin if an aid for the hammer spiring removal, just cock the hammer, insert the pin at the bottom of spring, lettoff hammer. fullclip
