Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Evaluated Night Vision devices at the gunshow . .

today and am ini trouble because I now know what the next thing on my "Get" list is and it's expensive.

The Gen 1 devices really suck.  Big, heavy, w/ poor picture quality.

Gen 2 are pretty impressive.

Gen 3 is outstanding.

I'd settle for the Gen 2 device that mounts up next to my Aimpoint M2.

Also saw the PASGT Kevlar vest.  Anyone know offhand what threat level these vests are rated at?
