I've got a new Holster for my Springfield. It's all leather, smooth side out. While I like the fact that it hold the gun securely, it's so dang tight that it makes presentation difficult and clumsy.

I saw a thread about a year ago on some kind of goo you could rub into the inside of a holster to make it slicker.

Anybody know what that stuff is? Is there anything I can do without having to buy something?

The only thing I've used and liked is "Leather Lightning" from Mitch Rosen Gunleather.

Neatsfoot oil is used by friends who like it as well.
