Double stack. The single stack garbage is new PC stuff so they can sell them in places like Kalifornia.

Double stack is the "standard" for all AK's, and AK variants... until the new PC single stack models came out, like the SA2000, Romaks, SLR100, etc.

All the single stack models can be converted by milling out the hole to accept hicaps, tho.

Stupid, stupid, gun laws.

Definitely go for the ones that take the double stack mags. They are running about $6-$8 for new a 30rd mag.

Double stack mags is the norm. Single stack mags are PC acceptable (for now) to any anti-gunner wannabe lawmaker.

avoid the lo-cap, single column mag models.

although they can be legally converted to hi-cap configuration without too much effort, the cost of doing so (adding the requisite usa made replacement parts) make the proposition not very cost effective.
