First, how is that trigger? I don't have an AR (yet).  I shot my friend's Bushy and didn't really like the trigger.  I'm thinking about a RRA rifle because they have that national match trigger.  Is it as reliable as the standard trigger?

Second, is that a chrome lined barrel?  Web site says "chrome moly."  Are they the same?

Standard service triggers are all very similar, and luck of the draw in pull weight, coarseness, and creep, IMHO.  My bushy and RRA triggers both sucked, tight, coarse, creepy.  Strangely, my Oly service trigger was very nice.

RRA 2 stage triggers will work in any lower.  I have never heard of reliability issues.

RRA barrels are not chrome lined.  Bushy/Colt, and some armalite are.

My trigger is nice and crisp. I like it. Its a single stage standard.

I have the 2-stage trigger and it's nice.  You can buy it separate and put it in any brand rifle.

The RRA barrels ARE chrome moly...that's what the barrel is made out of.  However, the bore IS NOT chrome lined...THANK GOD.  I didn't want a chrome lined barrel because it decreases accuracy.  I am not "in-country" in the swamp on patrol for long periods of time, so why would I need a chrome-lined bore?  I don't blow through ammo like a mad man either...very seldom do I rapid fire.

I love my RRA.  Most people who own them do!

I bought the RRA 2-stage seperately, very nice.  No chrome lined bbl's though.
