We have all seen the "How many mags for your AR15?" question. Here is another variation.
How many mags do you have for each pistol. I myself try to keep 10 for each pistol. I am just trying to see if I am the only gunnut out there.

I personally try to keep at least six for each pistol and ten or more for each magazine fed rifle I own, though it is about twenty for my AR

I try to keep around 15 mags for each handgun...as far as my AR...well, I will never have enough!

6 is a minimum (though I have a "for fun" .22LR with only 2 mags), and 10 is better. Mags are a high-wear item, and you never know when a company will discontinue something or go out of business completely. It would suck to have a perfectly good gun with no usable mags.

I like 5-7 for hi caps and 10-12 for single stacks. Can't get too many Wilsons for my 1911's.

I keep 4 for each handgun plus one in the gun, for 5 total.
Rifles, I keep a minimum of 8 plus one in the gun. This is all in mag holders of some kind, semi-ready to go. I have 8 for the AR but will end up with many more. |
