Wich is better a 20 inch or a 16 inch? I just can't decide. Thanks

Hey this is one I can answer.

Longer barrel= better use of gun powder.
A longer barrel will give a little more FPS, in turn giving the firearm a little better accuracy at longer ranges.

Shorter barrel= weighs less, more maneuverable in smaller areas.

What are you gonna do with it? Hunt? Plink, Scare the crap out of the neighbors? It all depends on the application and IF theirs an application.

20" SIGHT radius makes more difference to me than barrel length.  16" barrels can have excellent accuracy.... and better than most people can shoot.

Having the longer sight radius is very nice for precise iron sight shooting.

Having the shorter barrel is nice for carrying/lightweight.

Having both in a "dissipator" upper seems appealing.... albeit ugly.

They are both great for different reasons.  When I come to this dilemma, I just give in and get both.  Sometimes it takes a while.  That way, you'll never wish you picked up the other.

Well, it appears as if you want to scare the piss out of your neighbors. That'll work....although an M4 with the same 203 launcher on it is equally if not more ominous looking.....in other words....it looks like a 16 from Hell.

I was about to say the M203 mounts onto the M4, and I think it looks a little more "evil" than the 20 incher.

The cool M203 Handguard won't fit on the M4 Carbine

Nice M203 flare launcher.  Great for burning a whole thru your neighbor's roof. :D

I am going to go with the carbine. Unless you are going to shoot long range matches. The carbine will serve most purposes and looks er.

M 203 Handguard Included with Rifle Model (Will not fit carbines)
Specifications:  Weights 4 pounds  6 oz. unloaded

Yikes, that thing is heavy! Your rifle will way over 10 pounds.
You might want to try someone elses flare launcher first.
They look really cool, but what are they good for?
For $200 you could get some more practical accesories, like mags, ammo, scope, you get the idea.
And aren't the flares expensive?
I believed they outlawed "bird bombs" for the launcher also.
