It might have been, now that you mention it. It for sure had a two digit date stamp. I went through about 2000 cases on Sunday, all mixed headstamps and that is the one that I didn't know. |

Hey, I take offense to that comment as I am half Japanese. Actually, I can only take half offense to that.  I'm an equal opportunity offender myself and really don't give a rat's ass as I complain about Asian drivers all the time. I was born and raised here so "I'm an excellent driver". (My favorite quote from 'RainMan'). Maybe J C means "Junk Chinese". Makes sense if it is made by Norinco. |

It is "CJ" then "XX" two digit year, I don't know what it is either but I've got a lot of it. I also have "MAL" then "5.56" then "X-XX" month and year", "IMG" then "5.56" then "XX", and lastly "XX" appears to be year at 12 o'clock and then another number "XX" at 6 o'clock? Anyone?

I believe this is surplus from the crusades. Brother Maynard fired it from the "Righteous Rifle of Niniva". I've heard it runs a little "hot" with hard primers. I've got some in my collection next to the "Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch"! |
