I have a VSSF in a 1/12 I have shot 52's 53's 60's and 69's out of it. The 69's didn't keyhole at 100, I didn't try the 69's past 100 yards, I only had a few left over after a match and was courious if they would stabalize (I guess the bright Red writing that is one a box of Sierra tips that says "twist Rate 7-10 only" isn't enough for me
 )

1/9 is a great compromise. For bullets over 65 grns 1/7 is actually better, and for very fast like 45 grn 1/12 is better but 1/9 works for almost everything. 1/12 is really only rated to about 60 grns. The heavy bullets are to long and can tumble out of the slow twist barrels. 1/9 is the better choice for you unless you want to only shoot 45-55 grn rounds.
