Got this bushy upper and it seems kinda loose.  I say this since this other ar I have made by American Spirit Arms is nice and tight.  The play in the bushy is bothering me.  Am I just paranoid?  Are there fairly easy fixes without boring the holes and fitting a tighter pin?  Thanks, I'm kinda new to this.

My bushy upper is a little loose too.  Not a big deal... unless it really bothers you, or is a rattle trap.  I have a colt that is sooooo loose.

The thing to get (supposedly) that removes this play is a accu-wedge.

Go to CDNNinvetments.com.  They have em for $1.99 or something.

Play is normal and due to design tolerances to guarantee interchangability between any upper/lower combination.  Accuwedge will do the job.  Often times it will have to be trimmed a little on the bottom to get the right fit (you can do this with a sharp razor blade).  Make sure you squeeze the upper and lower together when installing the push pin with an accuwedge in place.  This eliminates excessive wear in the push pin hole that might be caused by haveing to force the pin through.  Also keep those pins lubricated!  Another item available is a replacement pin that uses an allen wrench which expands the pin inside the hole and provides for a rock solid fit eliminating all play.  Only problem is you now need a tool to remove the pin.  Do a search here, you should find additional info.
