Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Is Taliban attacking the N. Ally????

I am listening to the news on Fox and the commentator is saying that US planes are attacking the Taliban Front Lines, but apparently they are farther north than they have ever been before (in reporters words).  Is the Taliban gaining Ground Against the Northern Alliance. He said near some Airport the front lines are only 200 meters apart??

ANyone know what is up with this??

Last I heard the Taliban had launched a counter offensive and retaken the city of Marmul.

How the situation on that front has changed from that time, I don't know.
