Belt, vest, leg?

USGI belt packs work great.  Then you have tactical vests, then you leg packs.

Take a look at the offerings over at www.lightfighter.com

Get the Blackhawk with the Talonflex inserts. they have several types of configurations. I use them in 3 gun competitions and they work fantastic!

I got a few of the Mag Cinch ones & like them better than surplus or Blackhawk.  They are padded which makes the mags really quiet.  Thier "Single" pouch fits 3, the "Double" fits 5.  I use Magpuls too, which makes it so there is no rattle, scraping, or anything.  Very nice.

I have found no pouch better than the Galati MP-30, currently for $18.

Holds six 30 rnd mags, adjustable shoulder strap, D rings each corner, velcro flap pockets.  Each mag is in its own pocket, so they don't rattle around.

Sorry, so rude of me not to put the link...

http://www.galatiinternational.com/

and in the search enter MP30   no hyphen

directly to the pouch:

I have a similar mag pouch to A Free Man's, but mine is from Eagle Industries, I believe.

At this point I prefer separate components, and this let's me wear them of a coat, under something, or simply throw them in the range bag if I want to take the mags to the range.

If you're not yet ready for the "dedicated vest," this might be a great option.

EDITED to add that mine also has a waist strap.

Here is a similar setup that I just got for my .223 AK mags, also works with 762 AK or 30 round AR mags. Its  at lightfighter or london bridge trading for 30 some dollars. Two alice clips in back and two heavy belt loops next to those.
