Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Question for Mossberg 590 owners

Does everybody have a drilled and tapped mag end cap? Or is it just the later models? Believe it or not, sometimes on Saturday night after a glass of whiskey that little light bulb goes off in my head and it just did!

Of the 5 Mossberg 500s that I've had, only my newest 8-shot has that threaded hole. It came with a stud for a sling swivel that goes in that location.

My brother's 5-shot 500 also has that hole.
