My guess is around .50-.60 cents for each round, .30 carbine ammo is expensive.

Check it with a magnet as there was some Chinese counterfeit LC 30 carbine floating around a while back.

There was steel cased .30 carbine made in WW II and after. I assume you are talking about checking the bullet?

Yes, the counterfeit stuff was steel core.

Lake City brass in bandoleers can go for .30-.50 a round. Wolf steel case carbine ammo has effected price on the surplus ammo. It's $10 per box of 50.
Early 50's LC I recently got off Gunbroker very reasonable.
