My cousin ordered a extractor from Numrich for his mini 14 and its smaller than the original one. His is from the 80's did they change these?
He was also told theres someone making extractors and selling them on the net, anyone have any info on these?

Brownells was making them but they've been discontinued.

Good luck.

And you'll find that Brownells was the only source for replacements.

Guy that comes in at work had a guy make him one.  I will have to get the number from him.

Brownells still has extractors, at least for the 181-IIRC 187 prefixes.

Sounds like he has a 180 series, the original.  Yes, Ruger made a number of changes to the Mini over the years.  Don't know if Ruger stocks parts for the old Minis or not.  May be worth a call.
